Bhutan street fashion - in a minute

The remote mountain kingdom of Bhutan probably does not top the list of global fashion capitals. It had a strict dress code during the 1990s and national dress must still be worn in government offices.

But now, one of the country's most popular blogs regularly showcases how contact with the outside world, combined with a nostalgia for vintage looks, has created a unique street style.

Karma Wangchuk has been cataloguing the gradual shift away from traditional dress with his Bhutan Street Fashion project.
