Former Maldives president dragged into court

There were dramatic scenes outside a court in the Maldives where the country's former president Mohamed Nasheed was to attend a hearing.

He was filmed being forcibly dragged into the building by police.

He was been detained on terror charges, accused of ordering the arrest of a judge three years ago while still president.

Charles Haviland reports.
