Lee Kuan Yew funeral: 'Heavens opened and cried for him'

Funeral tributes to Singapore's first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew have been led by his son and political successor, Lee Hsien Loong.

Visibly moved, Mr Lee said that "the heavens opened and cried for him".

Tens of thousands of people are lining the streets of Singapore to bid farewell to the founding father of the city-state.
