Quake devastation in Sanku as rescuers search for survivors

At least 3,617 people are known to have been killed in a massive earthquake which struck Nepal on Saturday.

The impact of the earthquake has been felt most acutely outside Nepal's capital Kathmandu, in smaller towns and villages.

Sanku is 20km from the capital.

Fifty-six bodies have been recovered there, and rescue teams are searching for more survivors.

There is widespread destruction as many buildings have collapsed or suffered extensive damage.
