Afghanistan: Counter-offensive launched against 'new enemy'

Afghanistan's government has launched a major counter-offensive in the north-east of the country against Taliban forces and also Islamic State militants who have been "training and fighting alongside them."

They came close to a major town Kunduz in heavy fighting in recent days.
