Nepal earthquake: 'Kathmandu residents preparing to sleep outside'

The authorities in Nepal say about 40 people are now known to have died in a powerful second earthquake.

In Kathmandu, thousands ran into the streets in panic. As clear-up work begins many people remain too afraid to go back inside.
