Prosecutor: 'Gujarat was worse than a terrorist attack'

A court in India has sentenced 11 people to life in prison for their roles in a notorious massacre during a 2002 anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat.

The riots started after 60 Hindu pilgrims died in a fire on a train.

Sixty-nine Muslims were killed in the anger that erupted.
