Singapore manatees move to new home in Guadeloupe

Two male manatees from Singapore have been flown 19,600km (122,000 miles) to their new home, a large protected bay in tropical Guadeloupe.

Kai and Junior, both males, were chosen because they are young, fit and best of friends. It is hoped they will breed with other relocated manatees to restore the Caribbean population.
