Tiananmen Square: An exile's story

Around 1,600 people were arrested during the Tiananmen Square protests in China 25 years ago but some of the student leaders managed to evade authorities and were smuggled overseas.

Wu'er Kaixi was a 21-year-old student at the time. He now lives in Taiwan.

He spoke to the BBC about the events that changed his life.
