China's violent cult
In China, a trial over one of the most notorious murders in recent memory is about to begin. In late May a group of people belonging to a banned Christian cult beat a woman to death in a fast food restaurant for refusing to give them her telephone number.
The cult is called the Church of Almighty God, and it claims to have millions of members.
The BBC's China editor Carrie Gracie reports for the BBC World Service's Assignment programme on an organisation known for its secrecy.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme Thursday 14 August.
