Shopping protests: Fresh violence on Hong Kong streets

Angry protests have taken place in Hong Kong against Chinese visitors who come to the territory to shop.

Local people have long complained about Chinese mainlanders buying up goods at lower tax rates and then selling them on at home for a profit.

They say this leaves Hong Kong residents with a shortage of basic supplies.
