Thousands of Indian activists join Delhi gay pride parade

Thousands of activists filled the streets of New Delhi for the fourth edition of the Indian capital's annual gay pride parade.

The participants celebrated one year of the overturning of a colonial-era law that criminalised same sex acts.

For many, however, there is still a long battle ahead to stop gay people being stigmatised in society.

Heather Sharp reports.
