India 'land grab' snares thousands
Thousands of Britons are fighting for millions of pounds worth of ancestral property and land in India.
In recent years the value of rural land has risen dramatically across the subcontinent and a growing number of families of Indian origin are returning from the UK to cash in on their inheritance.
However, on arrival many discover the land has been sold, occupied or disputed.
This has resulted in bitter feuds between relatives and lengthy legal battles.
Disturbingly there is also emerging evidence of the involvement of organised gangs.
Jag Chima, a property dealer with offices in the UK and India, spoke to the BBC Asian Network.
