Ex-President Carter visits North Korea in release bid

Former US president Jimmy Carter is visiting North Korea, to seek the release of an American prisoner.

Aijalon Mahli Gomes was sentenced in April to eight years for walking illegally into North Korea from China, on a one-man peace mission.

The BBC's John Sudworh reports from the South Korean capital.
