NZ mine: 'No survivors' after second blast

All 29 miners trapped underground in a New Zealand mine are believed to be dead after a second ''horrific'' explosion, Police Superintendent Gary Knowles has said.

There had been no contact with the men - 24 New Zealanders, two Australians, two Britons and a South African - since an explosion on Friday in the Pike River Coal mine.
