Australian city braces itself for peak flood waters

Flood waters are still rising in the Australian city of Rockhampton, where the floods are expected to reach their highest levels in the next 12-18 hours.

The disaster has now also been compounded by reports that waters engulfing local towns are inhabited by snakes and crocodiles.

The BBC's Nick Bryant reports from Rockhampton in Queensland.
