Thai and Cambodian troops clash over disputed border

Thai and Cambodian troops have clashed for a fourth consecutive day over a disputed border area.

The Cambodian Prime Minister, Hoon Sen, is appealing to the United Nations to intervene.

The fighting, which has killed at least five people, centres around a temple in Preah Vihear close to the border between the two countries.

The temple, a world heritage site, is reported to have been damaged.

Guy De Launey reports.
