Hunt for tsunami survivors continues

Many coastal towns and villages in the area hit by the earthquake and tsunami are almost completely cut off.

It has led to significant delays in getting search and rescue teams onto the front line.

Our correspondent Rupert Wingfield Hayes is the first TV journalist to reach the city of Kesennuma where, three days in, the rescue effort is only just beginning.
