Polls open in Kazakhstan‎ presidential election

The presidential election is underway in Kazakhstan. Four candidates are running, including the incumbent Nursultan Nazarbayev, who has been in power for more than two decades.

The main opposition parties say they were not given enough time to prepare for the presidential election and have called for a boycott

The BBC's central Asia correspondent Rayhan Demytrie is at a polling station in Almaty and sent this report.
