I want to prove myself, says Yingluck

The surprise runaway winner of Thailand's election, the Pheu Thai party, says it has agreed to form a coalition with four smaller parties.

The winner of Thailand's general election, Yingluck Shinawatra, has announced plans to form a coalition government with four smaller parties.

Stock prices rose and the Thai currency increased in value amid hopes of political stability after Ms Yingluck's party won an absolute majority in Sunday's election.

She is the younger sister of Thaksin Shinawatra, who was deposed in a military coup in 2006.

In an exclusive interview with the BBC, Ms Yingluck was asked how she would introduce herself to the world.
