Gillard: Migrant swap 'best solution' for Australia

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard says that she will revive her controversial plan to send asylum seekers to Malaysia, even though the Australian high court ruled it illegal.

Under the scheme, up to 800 people seeking asylum in Australia would be sent to Malaysia to have their applications processed.

Ms Gillard said the arrangement would be the best solution for Australia.
