New Zealand tries to control damage from oil spill
The authorities in New Zealand say oil from a leaking ship stranded on a reef in a popular tourist spot, the Bay of Plenty, has begun washing up on the shore.
They say fist-sized balls of oil were found in one of the area's main beaches, which was then closed.
A public health warning has been issued urging people to stay away.
The BBC's Duncan Kennedy reports.
