Solomon Islands tsunami 'less a wave, more a high tide'
A tsunami warning has been issued for South Pacific islands after a powerful magnitude 8.0 earthquake struck off the Solomon Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
A wave around 3 feet (approximately 1m) high has hit some parts of the Solomon Islands.
Irene Scott is a reporter from Paoa FM on the Solomon Islands and says that reports so far indicate that the wave has not caused too much damage.
