Phillip Hughes: Cricket Australia pays tribute

Australia Test batsman Phillip Hughes has died, two days after being hit on the head by a ball.

Australia team doctor Peter Brukner said he never regained consciousness and died in hospital in Sydney.

James Sutherland, the chief executive of Cricket Australia, spoke of the affection and respect for Phil Hughes from around Australia and the rest of the world.
