Thousands attend Warsaw gay rights parade

Several thousand people have attended a European-wide gay rights parade in the Polish capital Warsaw.

It was the first time the annual EuroPride march was being held in Central or Eastern Europe and a controversial event for Poland, where the Roman Catholic church plays an influential role.
