Vatican library opens after revamp

It was founded more than 500 years ago with just a few hundred manuscripts, but today the Vatican library houses one of the world's finest collections.

Now, after an extensive three year renovation project, the library will re-open its doors to scholars from around the world.

Duncan Kennedy explains.
