At least 9 dead in Turkey civilian minibus landmine blast

Several people have been killed and many, including a 15-month-old toddler, injured in an explosion in Turkey, according to reports.

The blast happened in the Hakkari province near the borders with Iraq and Iran, striking a vehicle which was carrying civilians.

Reports suggest the vehicle hit a landmine although conflicting statements from security officials say it was a remote controlled explosive device.
