Mikhail Gorbachev: 'Russian democracy has problems'
The former President of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, has warned that democracy in Russia is experiencing problems.
He has accused the ruling party, led by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, of deviating from democracy to try to stay in power.
He also told the BBC's Steve Rosenberg that Russians no longer had the chance to elect regional governors.
