President Obama marks withdrawal plan in Nato summit

President Obama and world leaders are travelling to Lisbon for a summit of NATO leaders, which is being billed as the most important meeting in the alliance's 61‑year history.

The President is expected to set out the 4-year plan to withdraw coalition troops from Afghanistan and handover control to Afghan security forces by the end of 2014.

The BBC's North America editor Mark Mardell reports.
