Mass evacuation as floods hit Albania

As floods deluge the Shkoder region in north-western Albania, more than 12,000 people have been forced to flee their homes.

Interior Minister Lulzim Basha has said the country was experiencing its worst flooding in living memory.

Levels of water in the dam of the River Drina were lowered to decrease the risk of damage.
