Embassies in Rome put on high alert

Italian officials have defused a suspected parcel bomb delivered to the Greek embassy in Rome.

A second parcel, was delivered to the Venezuelan embassy, but turned out to contain no explosive.

Two other embassies in Rome were delivered similar parcel bombs just before Christmas. Those packages exploded, injuring two employees.

An anarchist group in Italy has claimed responsibility.

Italian police have warned all diplomatic missions in Rome to be on alert.
