Tunisia rejects Italian call to send immigration police

In the past few days Italy says more than 4,000 Tunisians have landed on its soil illegally.

It has prompted Italy to declare a humanitarian emergency and call for EU help.

So far the Tunisian government has rejected the idea of Italian police patrolling its coastline.

Duncan Kennedy reports.
