Italy PM Berlusconi appears in court on corruption charges
The Italian prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, has appeared in court to face corruption charges.
It is his first court appearance in eight years. He and others - including his son - have been accused of inflating the price paid to buy television rights to fund political activities. Mr Berlusconi denies the charges.
