Iceland people 'won't accept payments'
Iceland's Finance Minister said the people "are not prepared to accept payments... unless there's a clear legal obligation to do so".
Steingrimur Sigfusson was speaking to reporters after 70 percent of Icelandic people voted in a referendum against repaying the UK and the Netherlands the nearly 4bn euros lost when the country's banking system collapsed in 2008.
The issue will now be referred to an international court, the European Free Trade Association Surveillance Authority, a process which could take several years.
