IMF head questioned by New York police over 'attack'

The head of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, is being questioned by New York City police in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a hotel maid.

A police spokesman said Mr Strauss-Kahn had been held at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. He has not been charged.
