Call for protest ban in Spain for elections

Protesters in the Spanish capital, Madrid, have camped out in the city's central square for a fourth consecutive night.

Many of the demonstrators are young and unemployed, and are protesting against the socialist government's handling of the country's economic crisis.

Meanwhile, the Madrid electoral board is pushing to have the protest banned ahead of local elections in Spain on Sunday.
