Knox makes tearful address in Italian court
Amanda Knox has made a tearful address to a court in Italy protesting her innocence.
Knox, from Seattle, is appealing against her conviction for the murder of Meredith Kercher, the Leeds University student who died in Umbria four years ago.
The court agreed to extend a deadline for a review of the forensic evidence in the case, which Knox says will prove she didn't carry out the murder.
Duncan Kennedy reports from Rome.
