Russia air crash kills at least 44 people

At least 44 people are reported to have died after a plane crashed as it attempted to land in north-west Russia.

The Tupolev Tu-134 operated by RusAir was carrying 43 passengers and nine crew when it came down on a highway near Petrozavodsk airport.
