John Galliano goes on trial for anti-Semitic insults
The British fashion designer, John Galliano, has gone on trial in Paris accused of racism.
Galliano was sacked as creative director of the fashion house Dior after he allegedly shouted anti-Semitic insults at customers in a cafe.
If he is found guilty, he could face six months in prison.
He denies the charges.
