Vatican response over Ireland sex abuse scandal

Catholics in the Vatican say the Irish prime minister was right to speak out against the Church's handling of a child sex abuse scandal.

The Vatican has recalled its ambassador to Ireland following severe criticism by the Irish parliament of the Church's role in covering up child sex abuse.
