Amanda Knox 'paying with life'

Amanda Knox has given her closing statement in her appeal against her conviction for the murder of the British student Meredith Kercher.

Knox, 24, who was sentenced to 26 years in jail in 2009, told the jury in Perugia that she was "paying with her life" for things she did not commit.

A verdict on the appeals is not expected until Monday evening.
