Tension at EU debt-crisis summit

European leaders have been meeting in Brussels to try to prevent the financial crisis in the eurozone from spiralling out of control.

They say progress has been made but more work is needed before Wednesday, when key decisions are due to be taken.

A deal on strengthening European banks has been endorsed, but what to do about Greek debt and the eurozone bail-out fund are still major issues.

The BBC's Matthew Price reports.
