Papandreou: ' I do not care if I am re-elected'

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has told members of parliament that he wants national unity and does not care if he is not elected again.

In an address to parliament he ruled out snap elections but promised to open power-sharing talks with other parties.

Mr Papandreou's speech came as he faced a no-confidence vote in parliament.
