Marseilles rejects national park plan for the Calanques
People in Marseilles are trying to stop the French government from designating an area right next to the city as the country's first new national park for 30 years.
They say nationalising the Calanques could damage the local fishing industry as well as a traditional way of life, and that the community protects the region perfectly well.
Hugh Schofield reports from Marseilles.
