Pro-government rally in Moscow amid protests

Protests again the rule of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his allies have been broken up by riot police in Moscow.

Meanwhile rival rallies by Putin supporters were allowed to proceed.

Journalist Nikita Batalov said on his Twitter account that a mother claimed schoolchildren had been taken out of class and brought to a pro-government event in Moscow's Pushkin Square without parental consent.
