The Louvre displays the new Islamic arts gallery in Paris

The new gallery at the Louvre is an unusual structure, with a sail-like roof made up of glass and gold disks.

Museum officials say that this is the biggest design feat undertaken since the famous glass pyramid 20 years ago.

Six years in the making, the gallery will be opened to the public this summer.

Trystan Young reports.
