Strikes cause flight disruption in Frankfurt

Hundreds of flights have been cancelled as ground crew launched a two day strike in Frankfurt, Germany.

The airport has reported that it has managed to operate 80 per cent of its schedule, but it has still left thousands of people stranded or delayed.

Frankfurt airport is Europe's third busiest after London-Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
