Russian opposition activists hold pre-election protests

With Russians going to the polls on 4 March to vote on who should replace Dmitry Medvedev as president, pre-election campaigning is well under way.

Opposition activists who say the result is a foregone conclusion in favour of current Prime Minister Vladimir Putin are already holding protests.

The BBC's Russian Service Maria Vassilieva reports.
