Greek carnival inspired by financial crisis

The financial crisis in Greece was the main inspiration for the country's biggest parade.

Thousands of Greeks dressed in costumes, sang and danced for the popular carnival of Patras.

As well as recession, austerity and unemployment, the main messages of the organisers were resistance and hope.
