Russian girl band in court

Members of the Russian punk band, Pussy Riot, perform their controversial protest song in Moscow's main cathedral.

The women were detained in prison for five months before their trial for this performance, facing charges of hooliganism motivated by religious hatred or hostility.

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, has said the act amounted to blasphemy.
